Why Conley's
Since 1946, we've been manufacturing greenhouses in Montclair, California. What started as a small welding shop in founder John Conley's garage has grown into a supplier of quality greenhouse structures across the United States, known for customization and long-term durability.
Our structures are fabricated and supported by people who understand what makes a greenhouse last. Many Conley's greenhouses are still standing strong after 30–40+ years.
The Conley's Advantage: Rolled-Form Steel
Unlike many greenhouse companies that rely on welded tube steel, we use rolled-form galvanized steel made from continuous coil. This construction method is a key factor in long-term durability and performance.
Stronger Per Pound
Continuous coil construction provides superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to welded tube steel.
Corrosion-Resistant
Fewer cuts and joints means fewer weak points where corrosion can start and spread.
Customizable Shapes
Roll-forming allows us to create custom shapes and lengths for your specific needs.
Efficient Assembly
Consistent accuracy and precision-made components support lower labor costs and faster installation.
In-House Manufacturing
We manufacture our greenhouse structures in-house at our California facility, maintaining control over quality and customization.
Direct Support
When you contact us, you talk to the people who build your greenhouse. You work directly with our team throughout the project.
Nationwide Experience
Our greenhouses are in all 50 states. We understand regional requirements and climate challenges.
Custom Solutions
We work quickly to develop project concepts and initial designs, allowing us to provide solutions tailored to your specific requirements.
Engineering for real conditions
We don't design greenhouses in isolation. For projects requiring engineering, our team designs structures based on wind loads, snow loads, seismic requirements, and local building codes specific to your location.
Our in-house engineering team draws on data from the thousands of greenhouses we've manufactured across different climates. We know what works—and what fails—in real-world conditions.
This isn't about over-engineering. It's about building structures that perform reliably for their intended purpose and location, year after year.
Who we work with
Our greenhouses serve educational institutions, commercial growers, research facilities, and nurseries. Each has different requirements, and each needs structures built for their specific use case.
Our process
1. Understanding your needs
We start by learning about your location, intended use, and any specific requirements. No sales pitch—just questions to understand what you need.
2. Engineering and design
For projects requiring engineering, our team designs a structure specific to your site conditions and local codes. Stamped drawings are provided when needed.
3. Fabrication
We manufacture your greenhouse in our facility with attention to quality control. Components are organized for efficient installation.
4. Installation and support
We provide installation support and remain available for questions throughout the life of your greenhouse. Long-term support is part of the package.
