[November 11, 2014] — Conley's is proud to introduce the development of four different style greenhouses with the integration of fully automated light deprivation features. These systems were designed as turnkey solutions for growers of any size in the need for an automation of light cycles.
Light Deprivation – Conley’s uses several measures to achieve a complete light seal for an automation of light cycles. Our team has designed and integrated a retractable interior blackout system using a 3-layer breathable blackout material, steel end walls for a complete light seal, light traps/breathable walls on motorized inlet shutters over exhaust fans (or over evaporative cooling system if selected). Conley’s has developed the entire system to have adequate airflow while entire structure is completely blacked out.
Sizing, Pricing and Designs for Most Growers – Conley’s has developed multiple fully automated light deprivation growing greenhouse designs for growers of multiple sizes and needs. Whether your space is limited or your crop requires an expansive commercial growing operation such as a tier 3 i502 license, Conley’s offers styles to meet any grower’s needs in both stand-alone structures to gutter-connected structures.
Complete Growing Solution – All of Conley’s light dep series greenhouses offer natural ventilation with poly woven roll up sidewall curtains and ridge vent that allows heat to quickly and efficiently escape the greenhouse (The Gable Series 7700 HS2 LD features a fully retractable roof rather than a ridge vent - ideal for areas of high temperatures). This feature is included in the Mountains Series 1300 and Gable 7700LD Greenhouse and is optional in all of the others.
Also included in the package are: HAF Fans, Exhaust Fans, Motorized inlet shutters (with light traps), customized Link4 Corp environmental control system tailored specifically for these greenhouse structures for full automation with temperature/humidity sensors, multiple stage cooling and are remote access ready. We put light reflecting insulation on both end walls for increased production from grow lights when closed and from sunlight when ridge vent/roof and sidewalls are open, a 4ft wide swing door on one end and poly/polycarbonate covering on the roof, sidewalls and upper gable ends (different per series – please see Light Dep main category on website).
We’ve made it extremely simple to add on further equipment, depending on what your growing needs may be. We offer a full HPS grow light system for supplemental lighting, complete with controls and suspended track to hang the lights with pre-configured wiring, evaporative cooling system with integrated light trap and rigid vent cover, space heater unit sized appropriately for 50-degree delta and large automated ridge vent (on 3600LD series).
Structural Stability - The framing in Conley’s entire line of greenhouses is made from rollformed sections of steel and is an all bolt-together design for ease of installation and reduced freight costs. Conley’s rollformed steel is up to 438% stronger than traditional 1 3/8” 16-gauge round tubing, which is commonly used in competitors’ greenhouses.
